PIONITE

PIONITE is our unique process that hardens a metal surface by solid solution diffusion of carbon from the surface of the metal at a low temperature range (no more than 500℃).

◎ Surface hardness is 3 to 4 times that of the base metal

◎ Maintains the corrosion resistance and non-magnetic property of stainless steel

◎ Size fluctuation between before and after treatment is small; adapts to post-treatment deformation (plastic forming is possible after treatment)

PIONITE PLUS maintains PIONITE’s strong corrosion resistance while also achieving durability under even more demanding sliding wear conditions.
